For me, capturing Meli and Israel’s pregnancy was even more special than others, as Meli and I have been best friends since we were 12 years old, which means we have been like sisters for over 20 years. Not only they were eagerly awaiting their baby, but I was too. I have seen my best friend dream of this moment since she was 13, so it was an honor to be able to capture that moment and give her a lifelong gift, both to her and to my nephew.
From the moment Meli shared the news of her pregnancy with me, I was overjoyed. As her best friend, I had been there for all the ups and downs of her life, and witnessing her journey to motherhood was an incredibly emotional experience for me as well. Seeing her excitement, anticipation, and love for her unborn child was truly heartwarming.
