This couple is that rare specimen of youthful and mature love, known as young love. Photographing their engagement and wedding was a life lesson for me; maturity and wisdom are not defined by age, but by the capacity to love and choose one another time and time again. They knew what they wanted and wanted to spend the rest of their lives together; they didn’t need more time or formalities. It amazes me to see such determination and tenderness in such young people. They didn’t dwell on what was left behind but looked forward to the future with excitement. It was an honor to witness their love and commitment to one another, and I can only hope to capture such a beautiful connection again.
